Crozier-Sickles
The Crozier Sickles house was built in 1895 in Lebanon near the intersection of Preston Road and John Hickman Parkway (near the location of Richardson Bike Mart). The 2-story house was built from lumber hauled from Jefferson, Texas. The foundations piers and beams are made from bois darc trees. The house is fully furnished with antiques that were either donated or are original to the house. The sofa and chair in the parlor on the first floor are original as well as the double bed, dresser and rocking chair in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The Crozier-Sickles House has a beautiful bridal suite available for brides to use as they are preparing for their ceremony. A spacious breakfast room is an ideal area for brides maids to apply makeup and style hair. This house may also be rented for parties, teas, dinners or other small events. It will hold about 30 people.
